FROM THE OTHER SIDE : Avocado Mousse

I’m visiting family in the midwest and exploring the memories of my culinary heritage, aka going through grandma’s recipes. Some sources are unknown, only cryptic volumes and page number are noted.

Avocado is all people are eating these days it seems. People are putting them in smoothies, icings, and of course are putting them on toast by the hundreds. I found several recipes in grandma’s vast, vast collection and all them are just as elevated and exotic as what’s circulating the foodie insta circuit. Turns out the avocado is just re-experiencing it’s glory days.
